Javier Galindo grew up in Havana and now lives in New York. He currently operates the design studio JGCH and is also an Associate Principal at Kohn Pedersen Fox in NYC. He holds a Masters of Architecture degree from Cornell University in which he was the winner of the Best Thesis Prize. He was also the winner of the KPF Fellowship prize in 2007, a research grant in which he studied the Lost Capitals of Latin America.
Javier has served as teaching associate at Cornell University from 2006-2007 on visual representation courses. He has also been a guest critic at Pratt Institute, Columbia University and NYU.
