Ritchie Studio is led by its founder Ian Ritchie, and has an international reputation for technically refined, innovative architecture. It has been at the forefront of an intelligent climate conscious, sustainable and collaborative approach to architecture through a wide range of work, from urban masterplans and transport infrastructure to glazing systems and product design developed with industry. Projects include The Spire of Dublin, Reina Sofia Arts Centre Madrid, Leipzig Glass Hall, Terrasson La Villedieu Cultural Greenhouse in France, Trident Park and Farsons Old Brewhouse in Malta, Scotland’s Home of Tomorrow, Glasgow, theatres for the Royal Academy of Music, Royal Shakespeare Company and Plymouth Theatre Royal and in London the Crystal Palace Concert Platform, Stockley Park offices, and the Sainsbury Wellcome Centre for Neural Networks and Behaviour at UCL. The practice has received over 100 national and international awards for outstanding architecture and won over 60 competitions.
