GAP Design LLC was registered in Shanghai in 2010 and New York State, USA in 2011. It's a design company that provides multi-disciplinary engineering consulting services. In order to provide more efficiently professional services for the urban construction in China and North America, we have opened offices in Shanghai and New York.
Our Services
Our services include the conceptual/schematic design for architectural design, urban design, urban planning and regional planning as well as the support, cooperation and check during design development, construction documents design and construction phase. Through our previous unremitting efforts, the core members in our team have accumulated a wealth of experience and made excellent performance in the city/campus master planning, urban design, mixed-use, commercial, office, hospitality, residential, educational, transportation, healthcare and cultural projects. Our Team
Our team consists of graduates from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, University of Toronto, Tongji University, Tianjin University and other famous universities. And we have worked with and are partnering with many world well-known international design companies including CSCEC, Rafael Vinoly Architects, Atkins, B+H, Kirkor, Cannon Design, Perkins Eastman, etc. Our clients include the Municipal People’s Governments of Shenzhen, Changsha, Daqing and former Jinxi cities, the world's elite universities like Upenn and BIT, and the famous enterprises like SINOPEC, Tianjin TEDA, OCT, Calxon Group, Jiayu Group, ect.
Our Culture
“GAP” means “a Group of Architects and Planners”. Our aims are through extensive international professional practice, striving to bridge the gaps between the Eastern and Western construction industries, between traditional and modern design ideologies and between the pursuit of science/technology progressing and the rethinking of environment/energy saving. We will focus on the insight into the trends and genres in the development history of world's architecture and planning, so as to create forward-looking, innovative and advanced design concepts and styles, dedicate to the practical application of sustainable development theory, explore the road of modern architecture with traditional culture, and make a contribution for Chinese urbanization and North American redevelopment.
