Felix Schwake, born in 1984 in Fulda, Germany, pursued his architectural studies at the renowned Mies-van-der-Rohe-School in Aachen. His education emphasized traditional architecture with an inclination towards design. Today, he operates his studio out of Bochum, Germany, the city he calls home.
His work often revolves around the essence of display and interpretation, fostering a conversation between the setting and its central theme. This perspective not only influences his architectural endeavors but also his forays into the world of art.
A curated selection of his creations can be viewed at the esteemed Scene Ouverte gallery in Paris. Additionally, his works make appearances at prominent international art and design exhibitions, including Art Basel, Art Paris, Design Miami/Basel, Dubai Design Week, FIAC, Frieze, FOG, PAD London, TEFAF Maastricht, TEFAF New York, The Armory Show, and Zona MACO.
Besides his artistic ventures, Felix imparts knowledge as a lecturer for “Building Design” and “Building Construction” at the "University of Applied Sciences and Arts, FH Dortmund."
