Eva Jensen Design is a multi-disciplinary Architecture and Interior Design Studio founded by Danish architect Eva Christine Jensen, AIA, MAA.
Before establishing own architecture and design firm in New York, Eva Christine Jensen initially taught architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture KADK, Copenhagen, and worked for renowned architect Angelo Mangiarotti, Milan and Henning Larsen Architects, Copenhagen. Upon settling in New York Eva worked for award winning AD 100 architect firm Shelton Mindel & Associates.
Eva Jensen Design offers an international experience rooted in the Danish design tradition and Nordic culture. The office has a broad project knowledge, which spans from planning, commercial, civic to residential projects. We have developed a niche in high-end residential architecture and interiors, furniture design and art installations, and work with a consultant base of highly qualified professionals geared for this level of quality and focus.
Collaborating with clients and consultants, we view every project as unique and spend time listening to develop and articulate a tailored project program. Our methodology is shaped by an artistic, analytic and systematic mindset. We develop our work through inspirational references, research and thorough analysis, with a sensibility for material, color, light, and a meticulous concern for detail. Our approach to design emerges from equal part purpose and poetry, seeking to extract the essence of function and form and to perceive the potential in context of space.
EJD provides a hands-on approach, and emphasizes attention to detail. We aspire to create and execute spaces that connect people to culture and nature, with a focus on light and cohesiveness, striving for simplicity, innovation and authentic design solutions.
