There’s a reason ERO Architects is the top architectural firm in South Texas. We embrace our borderland roots and have a deep respect for the land, people and history of our region. That respect is prominent in our design philosophy, but what sets us apart is our holistic approach to each project. Our clients are strategic partners in the planning and development that influences our design. The results are design solutions that meet or surpass client needs and expectations.
Established in 2001, ERO Architects is an award-winning architectural firm with major success in education, performing arts centers and government design services with two (2) registered architects, one LEED® Acredited Professional and 26 employees in McAllen, Texas.
Founder and Managing Partner Eli R. Ochoa, PE, AIA, a native of the Rio Grande Valley, established this multi-disciplinary firm to specialize in the education sector because of his strong belief that good design can and does improve teaching and learning environments. The firm built its reputation on Eli’s vision to transform architecture by incorporating learnable, teachable and communal philosophies into our designs, thus meeting the sustainable needs of each community’s unique identity and providing projects on time and on budget.
Our experience with educational institutions is vast and we are pleased to have served on more than 200 school district, community college, technical college, university and municipal projects. Eli fosters the belief that each project approach is client-focused and designed to meet the client’s unique needs and requirements.
