Founded in 1998, Émond, Kozina, Mulvey, Architects has realized numerous projects in Quebec, Ontario, and the U.S. We work with public, semi-public, and private clients in new construction, additions, and renovations in institutional, commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. Project costs typically range from $30,000 to $5,000,000.
Beyond the 1o accredited architects, 5 of which are members of the Order of Architects of Quebec, we regularly call on outside consultants depending on the team’s needs for the project. Furthermore, our extensive technical library, woodworking shop and expertise with 3-D modeling and presentation software contribute to an efficient and high quality design process.
The firm’s Multidisciplinary approach provides an expert architectural and planning service that extends to landscape architecture, furniture design, interior design, and integrated planning. We also provide feasibility studies, conduct site selection and planning studies, cost estimation, building inspection, and the development of the project’s program including its financial viability.
Furthermore, ékm has developed an expertise in designing sustainable and green projects and has thereby not only contributed to reducing the environmental impacts from construction, a better quality of life for users, but also a reduced operating cost through minimizing energy expenditures.
The 2005 Architecture Award of Excellence for sustainable development, awarded by the OAQ for the New Arts pavilion for the Collège de l’Ouest de l’Île attests to the firm’s ability. Finally, the Canadian government gave financial incentives* for two institutional projects due to their energy-efficient performance.
