"Cumo Roversi Mori Architects " is an associated studio based in Florence and Rimini (Italy), founded by Giulio Cumo, Massimo Mori and Silvia Cumo, now directed by Alessandro Mori and Rossella Roversi. The activity is carried out in the fields of restoration, new constructions, renovation, interior design and furnishings; its main prerogatives are the high control over all the phases of the project, the general coordination of the interventions and the supervision of the various professionals involved in multidisciplinary fields, the extensive use of innovative technologies and the attention to construction details, architectural and structural, especially in historical contexts. The different skills of the Associates, also developed in teaching and research university experiences, are poured in professional practice with projects where innovation, in addition to the use and exploitation of traditional building techniques and technologies, wants to be a common thread. The research and the deepening of the project activity are now particularly focused on the topic of energy-efficient buildings and the development of restoration techniques.
Among the recently published works, we report the restoration and the new extension of the bell tower of the former Cathedral of Santa Colomba in Rimini, winning of a design competition for young architects and exhibited at the "Triennale di Architettura 2011" in Milan, The Malatestiana Bank and the scientific restoration of Palazzo Agolanti-Pedrocca and of the included tract of the roman city walls, in Rimini.
