The architectural bureau Arch Group was set up by architects Michael Krymov and Alexey Goryainov in Moscow in 2007. The main area of activity of the bureau is designing public interiors, as well as buildings and structures for different purposes.
Arch Group performs the whole scope of design works from the first consultations and concept development to the development of detailed design documentation in all sections, as well as the construction supervision.
Arch Group has the license for all types of design works, architects Michael Krymov and Alexey Goryainov are members of the Union of Architects. The team is combined with around 20 enthusiastic professionals.
Our aim is to reveal the maximum aesthetic and functional potential of the project and to ensure its proper implementation with a view to the customer’s needs. We think that quality architecture should not imply an extreme financial burden for the customer. High quality architecture is a result of an architect’s professional approach and interest in achieving proper result, it is based on the attention to details resulting in elaborate design documentation.
Our projects and their implementation captured professional awards and got recognition of the press. As of now more than 25 significant projects have been realized.
Redevelopment of the territory of a former chemical factory in Moscow city center for the creation of a multifunctional urban cluster. Restaurants, galleries, exhibition centers, offices, residential buildings and hotels will form a state-of-art enclave by the side of the Moskva river. Total site area - 26 ha. A project of Arch Group won the international competition for architectural and town-planning solutions for the construction of the Russian Orthodox spiritual and cultural center on Quai Branly in Paris in 2011.

In 2011 a design of office of Aeroexpress LLC got the first prize from the Moscow Committee for Architecture and Urban Planning as the best public interior of the year.

A project for the reconstruction of the MOESK control center won the first place in the competition held by the Moscow Committee for Architecture and Urban Planning as the best public interior in Russia in 2009 and was noted in the annual catalogue «Quality architecture 2010».

Since 2007 Arch group has been involved in the development of urban planning concept for the reconstruction of the small ring of the Moscow Railway and industrial zones in the “New Land” of Moscow.
Arch Group is the creator of modular mini-hotels for airports and train stations Sleepbox.

Michael Krymov had been the chief editor of the “Interior + Design. 100% office” magazine dedicated to commercial architecture. Presently Michael Krymov is the editor of a column on architecture in the “Interior + Design”.
