Ᾱrḍ—Arabic for "land," "earth," "ground," "terrain," "territory," or "plot"—is where ideas take root and evolve. It represents both a beginning and a limitless landscape of creativity, a canvas of untapped potential.
Founded by Dina Al Ahmad, Ᾱrḍ is an Amman-based architecture and design studio dedicated to crafting meaningful, responsive, and enduring spaces. Our work is deeply embedded in its social and environmental context, ensuring each project resonates with its surroundings.
With expertise spanning architecture, interior, landscape, and furniture design, we create tailored solutions that blend functionality with artistry. Dina Al Ahmad, Founder and Principal Architect, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Jordan (2007). She has collaborated with leading architectural firms in Amman, contributing to high-profile projects across the region before establishing Ᾱrḍ in 2012 as a platform for experimental and forward-thinking design.
Her visionary work earned two nominations for the prestigious Aga Khan Award for Architecture in 2019, reflecting Ᾱrḍ’s commitment to excellence and innovation in the built environment.
