2050 M Street in Washington, DC, sets a new standard for trophy office spaces, showcasing a blend of the city’s architectural styles—from high-relief masonry to modern glass structures. Its distinct façade features approximately nine hundred identical, insulated-glass panels, each curved to enhance structural efficiency and create a unique visual effect.

This innovative façade design fosters a kaleidoscopic play of transparency and reflection, lending the building a notable presence while maximizing clarity. Inside, the lobby contrasts the exterior’s crystalline appearance with warm elements like cowhide wall panels and wood finishes, complete with a site-specific artwork, representing an elegant blend of advanced design and environmental context.
