1 De Haro stands as a testament to San Francisco’s innovative approach, being its first cross-laminated timber (CLT) edifice.

Located on a uniquely triangular site, previously a gravel yard, SKS Partners took on the ambitious project, with Perkins&Will crafting its design. This marks California’s introduction to multi-story timber architecture. Its blend of rich wooden core and shimmering glass façade gives it an enchanting glow at twilight.

But there’s more beneath its surface. 1 De Haro masterfully combines environmentally-conscious office spaces with functional industrial zones, encapsulating Perkins&Will’s dedication to holistic, sustainable design.
