Dive into the Calm Ambiance of this Coastal Private Garden

Situated in Zhangzhou, “The Flowing Garden” seamlessly marries contemporary construction with traditional ethos, creating a cohesive residential retreat for two brothers and their families.

Designed to be a peaceful spot in an area with limited external views, it has beautifully designed courtyards that blur the lines between architecture, interiors and nature. A central pond yard divides leisure areas from residential spaces, with sunken courtyards bringing light and air to underground sections, making them as inviting as those above.

The building uses exposed concrete due to its durability in coastal conditions. This choice allows the structure to blend seamlessly with the surroundings, emphasizing nature and space. Over time, the growing vegetation will ensure a legacy for upcoming generations.
