Ancient Roots, Modern Learning: Exploring a University’s Tree-Centric Garden

Architizer Editors Architizer Editors

Nestled in the heart of a university community, this park combines a rich humanistic atmosphere with functional spaces, centered around an ancient eucalyptus tree symbolizing growth and learning.

The design features circular forms expanding into a square under the tree, where stone benches invite students to read, think, and connect with nature.

A 40-meter-long Wisdom Bridge leads visitors through natural elements, ending at the School House under the Tree, an academic sanctuary set in lush greenery, ideal for reading, meditating and socializing. This park is a fusion of campus and community life, representing the integration of nature and humanity.
