The Canyon run home was designed as a response to the mass migration created by the COVID pandemic. The design brief for the Canyon Run project sought to break the current trend of oversized, sprawling mountain homes, which are devouring land and the unique character of the rural towns they inhabit. The project consists of 4 small structures and swimming pool that work cohesively as one. The Canyon run project draws inspiration from Idaho's unique architectural heritage, where Roof forms subtly cup and twist as they mimic the dilapidated mining and agrarian structures that sprawl across the landscape.
