Located on the harbor of Amsterdam, IJburg, Jonas emerges as a symbol of modern living, accommodating a blend of rental and owner-occupied homes, enriched with state-of-the-art facilities.

Earning the distinguished BREEAM Outstanding sustainability certificate, the structure embodies a fusion of community-focused design and environmental consciousness.

With its design drawing inspiration from shipbuilding, its facade showcases unique undulations, crafted in dark, pre-patinated zinc.

The building’s interior breaks the mold, featuring an intricate framework akin to wooden ship skeletons, encompassing 273 apartments within its enveloping “skin”.

Delving deeper into the structure unveils a blend of architecture and nature, with public pathways linking serene spaces like the forest patio and rooftop beach, all supported by eco-friendly design and social sustainability.
