This transformative 128-acre development is reshaping Shenzhen, China’s first economic zone. Seamlessly uniting retail, business, and cultural zones, OCT Bao’an’s OH BAY rejuvenates Shenzhen’s waterfront with a unique blend of urban and ecological design.

The project features four primary zones, catering to a variety of user experiences. Whether it’s shopping amidst organic forms in the East Waterfront Retail Park, soaking in cultural activities at the West Waterfront Retail Park, conducting business in the Urban Business Center, or immersing in the vibrant Waterfront Cultural Park, there’s a space for everyone to enjoy.

The site is encompassed by an ecological blanket, connecting all zones via 3-dimensional pedestrian paths, encouraging natural footfall flow. Structures like the sky garden and vertical green walls inject nature into the urban setting, fulfilling the LEED-ND gold pre-certification standard.

Through its curvilinear, streamlined design and emphasis on communal spaces, OH BAY sets an impressive precedent for future development in Shenzhen.
