“Zutik Zentroa osteopathy and posturology center. By Irati
Burgues, SARE Arquitectura.
Zutik Zentroa is a posturology center where manual techniques and osteopathy are
taught.
The building which houses the center was built in the 60's with a combined
concrete and steel structure. In this project, a decision was made to show the
structure. The picture shows the initial state after several years of
inactivity in this part of the building.
The center consists of several rooms: 4 consultation rooms for osteopathy
and podiatry (the latter with a workshop zone), testing room, waiting room and
administration, office and multipurpose room.
The center has two entrances, thus allowing the development of two
activities at the same time.
The multipurpose room is used for classes and courses of therapy
techniques. This can be divided into three separate rooms with movable
partitions. In the entrance area there are two zones created by curtains to
provide changing rooms for courses in yoga, tai-chi and chi-kung.
