Railway hub of Esto-Sadok /1200 m2/ is located at 1,000 meters above sea level, in a picturesque place near Sochi, on the left bank of the river Mzimta. This hub combined road and railway leading to Krasnaya Polyana and was built JSC "Russian Railways". Bright image of the train station sketch was created by the architectural studio StudioKORA in 2011. The project is inscribed in the landscape environment, green covered mountains and a river nearby. Roofing repeats zigzag line of towering mountains and a triangular strip of stained glass visually resonates with stormy river behind the station.
Hub is part of an ambitious project of infrastructure of the SOCHI Olympics 2014, in which it was planned 48 km of railway with the station "Estosadok" and "Alpica Service", and 46.5 km of highway, 6 tunnel complexes, 35 bridges and overpasses .. This new transport hub includes terminal building, associated passenger platforms and ample parking for cars.
