The plot is located in the city centre of Palma de Mallorca in a corner position of a very common neighborhood and colonized by new cultures of arriving people.
The building responds to the city through the building volumetric which responds to different conditions of the street around the plot, at the widest street and at the junction, the building is becoming higher and at the narrowest street the building becomes lower.
The floors of the building are organized around a vertical core of stairs and lift in programmatic rings from the interior to the exterior.
First the humid zones, are located immediately after the core, and second the area of distribution and access, which are called "serving areas", and third the rooms to stay, which are called "served areas".
The facade is made by two layers which fold in zig zag shape becoming terraces and canopies, this allow the dwellings to incorporate the optimal sun and views orientation and also to protect the interior from the sun radiation.
The idea is to provide a wide range of different apartments, providing two of them per floor, having them of three to one bedroom flat.
The changing colors of the glass go from a range of blue and green, white and gray increasing the privacy of homes and in context with the neighbourghood.
The plinth of the building is cladded in black slate, the upper part is made of grey render .
