Based on the development and operation goals, the project is positioned as a new youth community and a novel urban complex, which integrates living, commerce, recreation, office, entrepreneurship, culture, leisure, and intelligent community. Starting from urban and public perspectives, it will empower the city, drive the development of surrounding areas, and set a new benchmark for the city.
For this large urban complex, it's necessary to reasonably arrange traffic routes to separate the flow of distinct groups, so as to greatly improve working, living and entertainment experiences. Based on the terrain conditions, the buildings are arranged at different heights, hence creating a three-dimensional system featuring “multiple ground floors”.
The south area consists of micro mall, cinema, exhibition center and commercial streets, which combines retail and experience together. In response to the height difference within the site, suspended corridors are adopted to link commercial spaces from 1F to 3F, so as to improve accessibility. The micro mall can be accessed by two passages respectively on east and west sides of 1F and 2F. The platform on 3F connects with shopping center, exhibition area and office, which is convenient for resources sharing and integration and provides more possibilities and flexibility. The 4F space is designed with configurations suitable for various types of cinemas, which enhances adaptability to uncertainties and leaves room for more flexible future operations.
The cultural center adjoins the art gallery (which will be constructed in Phase II) near the core park and the stepped landscapes in the core area. It adopts large transparent glass to show people the future of the community. The wood-colored pillars produce a warm atmosphere for negotiation. The rising roofs not only follow the terrain, but also create upward strength and present the vibrant spirit of the youth community.
