One of the first minimalist styled houses designed by the studio.
After discovering the piece of land and surroundings, the idea of building an elevated house was developed. The general concept was the one of a house in the Delta of Buenos Aires.
The house was conceived for a single person who would need an apartment in the suburbs. The program was constructed as per the following: living-room and kitchen, a toilet and a bedroom.
The construction was traditional, concrete structure, bricks rubble work, pre-stressed flat roof and aluminum carpentry.
In terms of architectonic resources, a terrace and eaves was used to protect the interior from the north sunlight, avoiding the excess of heat and light. No windows were built facing south, in order to reduce the cold and water entry. Energetic-wise, the house was designed electric (no gas), with the intention in the future of powering the premises with alternative energies.
