Situated on the west of the Reims agglomeration, the project is structured around the confrontation between the different architectural treatments of the facades, each responding to a logic of orientation. In the first instance, an "exterior" facade opening towards the major roads has been conceived like a signal, a sculptural and visual event whose linearity is transformed by optical illusion into a kinetic effect recalling the broad lines of the surrounding landscape. Subsequently, an "interior" facade, conceived like an empty volume, opposes a continuous building with independent boutiques. Between the two, the space takes on the silhouette of a pictogram of an open-roofed house: the identity of the place reveals itself as a commercial space dedicated to the home.
