The interior design for a house of approximately 300m sq in Mogliano Veneto, Italy.
A single wide space where the dining room, the living room and the kitchen coexist but each one keeps its own identity thanks to different degrees of light and different materials.
The careful and balanced succession of white and wooden surfaces defines the spatial diversity of the each room producing cold and warm perceptions, and different luminous and tactile sensations.
The fixed furniture becomes part of the structure of the house, defining simple geometries and pure volumes through the use of few materials such as wood, plaster and stone.
The wide staircase connects the two levels of the house and defines a continuity of space: on the ground floor a bench made of pure volumes shifted one above the other is connected to the bench on the first floor by “L” shaped elements that drive the natural light downwards.
