Goyang, near Seoul, Korea, 2 co-housing residences for members of 10 families who want to live with others have been designed and completed.
Surrounded by mountains, the site is located near a small stream. Inside the houses, the families can see the mountains through windows and can listen the stream flowing. And every season one can feel breeze which blows into each room. The nature is most importantly regarded during the design process.
10 families are gathering to organize a new community for living, helping and sharing things each other which is now very unusual in the contemporary urban life of the Korea. Then Architecture becomes a medium for a new life style of this new community members.
