Yellow Building

Kefar Sava, Israel

STATUS
Under Construction
SIZE
1000 sqft - 3000 sqft
BUDGET
$10K - 50K
An industrial building combined with commercial aspects, located in the industrial zone, Kfar-Saba Israel.
The building has two floors with an area of 2000 square meters.
The building characterizes innovation in the concept of a commercial building combined with industry, which is reflected in the synchronization between the two different
purposes, by combining production and sale under one roof (sustainable architecture) Creating a modern and contemporary building. The main facade consists of double skin.
The outer skin: made of aluminum tin, perforated using a CNC method that functions as a light filter from the east in the morning hours.
The inner skin: "Danpal-facade system", this wall delivers the perfect balance of light and thermal dynamics for any translucent facade.
Changes in the direction of light on the outer skin create dynamic shading, those changes showing CNC pattern on the inner space .
In the ecological approach we closed the facade to the south to prevent heat from entering, and opened the facade to natural light from the north.
On the facade facing the inner courtyard (north), we chose to use bricks (on the ground floor) for reasons of strength and to create a contrast between the non-transparent
and the transparent.
On the top floor, we used a printed glass wall, LOW E glass, in order to allow the workers in the building an eye contact between the outside and the inside.
Yellow is the color of the sun and therefore symbolizes sunrise and innovation.
The color yellow used on the building creates an atmosphere of joy, prestige and innovation.
We used the yellow color to highlight the building in the vicinity of industrial buildings where the use of bright colors is rare as well as a work environment full of joy
and creativity for the building's users.
