YDA Center is located at one of the most major arteries and the junction of the transportation network in Ankara, Eskisehir Road, at right above metro stations.
The project is composed of three main spaces; "Urban Plaza", " Office", "Park ", and an "Urban Void" to link those spaces.
Urban Plaza is a public space that provides transition between metro stations, commercial and retail spaces, offices and outdoor spaces. Containing numbers of courtyards and connecting streets at different levels, Urban Plaza provides access to neighbouring spaces and the park located at the southern part of the site. The Urban Plaza offers its visitors a unique urban experience, with its various paths, vistas and attraction points.
The Office is designed by considering the commercial and public potentials of the area, and appreciating its value. It is, therefore, designed in coherence with its environment and aims to meet the necessities of a next-generation office complex. The design combines the vertical and horizontal office typologies, which creates terraces. By offering terraces, panoramic elevators and social activity spaces at different levels, the Office forms a three-dimensional relationship with its surroundings in an urban level. The building is formed by taking references from neighbouring buildings, combining the tower on the eastern side, and triangle shaped slightly curved tower on the other side, with an urban void at the center of the building.
"The Park" is located at the southern part of the site, with 13.000 m² total landscape area. The park provides restaurant and cafe space, and a parking garage underground.
The office complex and the urban plaza, formed with an urban void and the park, designed with modern and urban approach opens up to the heart of Ankara. YDA Center is not only an office complex, but a spatially, visually and socially vibrant urban space.
