The main objective of the project is to preserve an important Eighteenth-Century building in bad condition, and with multiple meaningless extensions; due to family inheritance issues and due to a fire which took place in 1965; in order to provide work areas for a modern Notary office.
The invariant features of the old building have become the conceptual basis for the integral renovation of the remaining parts of it, while new construction systems have been used to replace the areas that had been destroyed before the renovation. The result is a building where restorations coexist with modern technical solutions, and are mixed together around a central patio, which offers a relaxing work environment.
