Xinchang Sports Mall is a riverside public sports center that is available 24 hours a day. The design recognizes that the conventional sports complex only opens to select groups at specified times, thus this project idea includes not only professional sports field functions but also daily commerce and public activities. The total floor area of the project is 121,132 square meters, including 5000 first-class gymnasiums, badminton, tennis, and table tennis training centers, complex commercial space, and exhibition space, as well as a 19-story serviced athlete apartment. The atrium organizes independent venues to make the building integrated and efficient. The architectural form is inspired by the natural environment of Xinchang City, and the soft outline integrates into the mountain and river. Both the identity and functions will contribute to the city and the public.
