Recently awarded LEED Gold certification, this relocation and consolidation of our client's headquarters from two existing locations to a new tower in Boston totals over 400,000 square feet on 15 floors. an extension of their move towards more open landscape workstations, private offices are designed with all-glass fronts to increase visibility and promote interaction. The main reception is located on the 31st floor along with a full-floor conference center, where clients and visitors can be better accommodated. This project includes many highly equipped-conference rooms in addition to the main meeting room where Boston staff communicates with other staff around the world. Special production support rooms maintain operations in the many specialized meeting and conference areas.The Information Technology back bone is supported by two stand-by generators along with a UPS system. The integration of an extensive art collection is a consideration throughout the design. The desire to create maximum openness in order to take advantage of views is balanced carefully against providing appropriate wall space for hanging and viewing art. A new trading floor stands on a ful raised floor for cabling and devices.
