The WTCG, World Trade Centre , Guwahati is envisaged as New Gateway of India from the East. At a height of 250 meters , Destined to be the highest tower in East India, the sinuous twin towers are connected by the free flowing sky-garden on the Fifty Fifth Floor level.
Based on principles of Vastu and Ying Yang, the twin towers are designed as married twin towers with a clear relationship between a male and female towers happily married two each other rather than two equal brothers in competition. The male tower is masculine, strong, bold in its form while the female tower is feminine, delicate, subtle in its form.
The iconic symbols of Assam become the inspiration for the unique signature skyline in the form of a Triad. The free flowing lines and forms of Brahmaputra and the natural landscape of Assam inspire the organic shapes and forms of the base , body and termination of the building.
The architecture of WTCG ambitiously wishes to challenge some of the most iconic tall mega structures around the world.
