World of Beer teamed with SOSH Architects to create a unique and authentic space for their first Pennsylvania location. The design team was tasked with transforming a 200-year-old stone barn into a 4,500-square-foot tavern, which includes an outdoor patio with lounge and table seating, games, and fire pits to inspire social interaction among beer enthusiasts. In order to stay relevant with the WOB brand and culture, the design elements used are slightly masculine, drawing from the rustic characteristic of the historic barn, and utilizing the exposed beams, natural stone and reclaimed wood to highlight the design. The space also includes a long bar featuring rows of taps, and an eclectic mix of lounge and table top seating, ideal for enjoying food, entertainment, and of course, beer.
