Located in Istanbul Nidakule, this office project approaches the workplace not merely as a functional environment, but as a spatial experience shaped through materiality, detail, and atmosphere. Set within the vertical urban context of a high-rise business tower, the interior balances the energy of the city with a warm, calm, and productive working environment.
The main material language of the project is defined by birch plywood surfaces, bringing a natural, honest, and timeless character to the space. Its light-toned wood texture strengthens the relationship between the interior and daylight, while creating a soft and welcoming atmosphere throughout the office.
Feltouch acoustic panels are used not only as a technical solution for improving acoustic comfort, but also as a defining element of the design language. The red acoustic wall panels in the meeting room and the grid ceiling structure introduce rhythm, depth, and a strong visual focus within the otherwise restrained material palette.
Inspired by Japanese joinery principles, the project highlights a refined approach to construction and detailing. The connection details seen in the shelving systems, seating elements, and custom-made furniture transform structural simplicity into an aesthetic expression. This approach brings a sense of craftsmanship and precision to the contemporary office environment.
The Scarpa terrazzo flooring is one of the key elements shaping the identity of the project. Its small-scale rhythmic pattern creates a subtle yet distinctive contrast with the calmness of the birch plywood surfaces. Trimless lighting solutions are integrated into the ceiling with minimal visual presence, supporting the clean, seamless, and refined character of the space.
To emphasize the industrial aspect of the design, stainless steel is used in a controlled manner across furniture legs, shelving systems, and detail elements. The contrast between the warmth of wood and the technical, cool character of stainless steel gives the office a sophisticated yet production-oriented identity.
Situated within Istanbul Nidakule, the project establishes a balanced relationship between natural materials, acoustic comfort, crafted details, and industrial accents, resulting in a flexible, serene, and distinctive workspace for a contemporary design office.
