The project involves the construction of a new service block inside a former decorators' workshop in the historic center of Cuneo, now a beershop. The rooms are located on the ground floor of a 19th-century building then renovated in the middle of the last century, and consist of four large rooms with vaulted ceilings and grit and wood floors. The intervention aimed to keep the existing structure exposed. Therefore, a tiled box was created, inside and out, with a wooden roof and transparent polycarbonate honeycomb panels to receive and return natural light. The project was designed so that it can be reversible; once the box is dismantled, the rooms can return to their original state.
