In this 1400 square foot loft in Tribeca, sectional opportunities were utilized to compress storage and private functions and create an expansive living area. The master bedroom suite was lifted and cabinetry, bike storage, HVAC, washer and dryer inserted beneath. The master and guest bathroom were nested together with a shared lighting design so that both spaces are made to feel more expansive.
The walnut-wrapped master bedroom looks out over the open spaces of the kitchen, living, and dining spaces, and onto the streetscape beyond. In collaboration with Aran Coakley. Photos by Eduard Hueber/archphoto.
