A 32 floors high end, hi-rise apartment project in Whitefield, Bangalore, India, Whitepebbles is designed with concept of accessible gardens at all levels. In doing so a stepped profile emerged, terrace gardens designed for upper levels with a magnificent view of lake. The clubhouse and gym needed easy access from all parts of the building, thus aperture in the middle of the building serves this purpose. This interactive space is designed on Indian concept of a central courtyard, in this case, ‘courtyard of the hi-rise’.
