This interdisciplinary installation was developed during an artist residency in Westben Performance Art Theatre in Campbellford, Ontario, in summer 2018. The idea was to add another layer of sonic architecture to the existing architecture of the concert hall. The project was inspired by belfries and bellringer's manuscripts of the late 19th century. A part of the concept was to put together low-tech and high-tech performative techniques, which manifested itself in the use of rustic bells, ropes and acoustic instruments n parallel with live electronics and algorithmic music.
