A pied-à-terre in the heart of West Village in New York City. The studio was transformed into a one-bedroom going through a full gut renovation; the space was stripped down to its bare bones and completely renovated from the ground up. Everything in the space down to the raw framing was replaced, including: pipes and plumbing, electric, walls, floors, appliances and everything in-between. The layout was maximized by opening up the space using glass and steel as space dividers or transitions. The result is an bright space that feels bigger than the actual size with substantial storage and quality of life.
