Project Objective:
To build 3D MEP model for a commercial building, from the 2D drawings provided by the client.
Technology/Software Used:
Revit MEP 2014
Challenges
1: To create immaculate MEP 3D model keeping in lines with the international standard of quality from the detailed 2D drawings provided in the pdf/CAD format.
2: Numerous changes were suggested over the course of project, which was successfully addressed with a well-coordinated 3D MEP Model.
Engineering Solution:
1: To obtain clarity of the project, Hi-Tech deputed dedicated resources, from the very initial stage of project.
2: To ensure the project is successfully completed and delivered on time without compromising on global quality benchmarks, a close collaborative channel with Client’s design team was established.
3: With the PDF files of 2D drawings and other inputs a thorough study was undertaken and putting each piece in its place, the engineers came with up flawless 3D models, with the help of Revit.
4: Various architectural components including interior walls, ceilings etc., along with numerous structural components and mechanical systems were carefully examined to understand the inherit potential of the building.
5: Furthermore, the trained professionals were assigned to convert 2D drawings to 3D using Revit tool.
Benefits:
1: Revit Software helped to make some quick changes in the Design, eliminating the Repetitive Tasks.
2: With a meticulous examination of the inherit potential, the chances of clash came down drastically, hence saving time and other resources.
3: Privacy was given utmost priority; the designs were not made public.
