years the vineyard on the Reisenberg established as a popular location for
national and international events. So that these events mostly are possible
all-season upgrading the lounge was desperately necessary.
The existing
lounge in the basement was expanded about an annex of 80m². In doing so the new
parts of the structure were integrated into the existing hillside and open up
southern-east downhill. The core of the annex is the drop-front made of glass,
10m long and at a height of 3m. Through this big glassy wall the guests can
enjoy independent from weather and season the gorgeous view over the city of
Vienna. The interior of the annex was designed with classy vaults made of
bricks so that it is merging with the existing basement. The lounge can be
heated by open fireside, and in summer the view over Vienna can be complemented
by open fire on the terrace.
