“Weekend Home”
The enclosure of green landscape along with the spaces roofed within large glasses gave an identity to this “Weekend home”.
Far from the chaos, it is designed to allow natural elements to blend with the structures and interior space. The palette of art, drama, memories and minimalist approach added up to its outlook and the perfect design.
The stone scaled entrance running through the lawn and home entry is revelation factor that gives the precise sight to internal spaces all the way through living area, pantry and pool side lounge.
To enhance the environment factor within the structure, a large hand treated teakwood flower art piece is placed at the entrance side wall. The idea was to give aesthetic look to the space as well as balancing the wood work throughout the spaces inside.
The boho colored upholstery with the plain long walls adds the distinct look to the living area. Minimal drama supplements the structure with wooden strap and the hanging lamps from the ceiling.
Dining angle designed with the artistic angled wooden chairs and bench with best family memories embedded over the high wall. The dining angle perfectly partitions the entry to bedroom and pantry area.
Pantry, where multiple cuisines connect is given a modular and sleek look. The area is framed within the black stone, storage cabinets and light throwing glass background.
To add up the unique feature on the most comforting area of the home, the bedroom is kept consecutive to the pool lounge area with the glass partition. The dim lights added over the beige leather cushioned headboard.
The exquisite pool lounge created with the chiselled black stone water spring at side middle wall, connects consecutively to the dresser area and bedroom. The wall side spotlight, wood shaded floor, the comforting pool lounger and the long glass wall is created to further add warmth to the area. Personally speaking, my favourite corner of this home.!
Exteriorly, to give the Zen effect supplementing to the home, we placed a Buddha with view from most areas of the structure. The statue placed at the adjoining corner of living area, pool and garden area set the idea to place it in the unique way.
The statue is positioned on the raised civil arch structure, endorsed plantations and pebbles to keep the calming factor intact exterior side of the structure.
The major area covered as a green space simply reflects the idea and purpose to unwind the -weekend or holidays with harmony and rejuvenation of self.
We were happy to deliver the architect to par the expectations, emotions, functions and purpose creating it. It just justified the statement “Form follows Function”.
