We have created this innovative technique of slicing driftwood into thin veneer strip allowing us to weave around a metal grid. This method permits us to create a lounge chair without any back support, as the grid not only acts as the counter weight of the chair but it also creates what Bernardo Urbina likes to call it, the facade of the furniture. Bernardo has designed the back curve of the chair understanding the ergonomics, having the item adapt to the user instead of the user adapting to the chair. This chair will not only start a conversation with your friends and family but it will wrap you in natures warmth while seating in it.
