WE ARE JUICE is a brand new juice-bar that opened its doors last January in the heart of Paris. This new venue is supposed to mark with success the always-growing landscape of high quality fast-food.The willing to stage the gesture of fresh-pressed fruits has been developed by designing a large central bar, colored, mineral and sculptural.
The polychrome bar is surrounded by wooden furniture and parquet flooring stained in black in order to emphasize its own graphic peculiarity. The seats are spread on three different levels with different kinds of skaï-padded benches as in the tradition of the Parisian brasserie.
Strange volumes with pale-pink flock fiber (?) coating inhabit the high ceilings of the restaurant. In stark contrast with the smooth surfaces of the bar their organic and irregular surface - echo to the fruit peels – accommodates (integrate …) the shiny cold lines and grids of the technical lighting.
Wide mirrors keep these two worlds together and the room’s theatrical curved geometry is magnified by their numbered facets.
The glazed façade can be largely opened to enjoy the outside when the sunny days take place and its drawing follows the pure Art Déco geometry of this building by André Granet (the architect of Salle Pleyel).
Through these wide transparent windows the captivating composition of the bar with the floor levels and the block-animated ceiling get the passer-by easily caught up.
