The Wayne State University Theatre competition is an ideas
competition pertaining to a new theatre design concept. The solution presented is a building
that encompasses public spaces allowing for the public to interact with the
performance spaces and the Wayne State University Public arts department. The building itself is an infill
project within the landscape of the Detroit Metro area. This will allow Wayne State University
to generate a greater connection with the city of Detroit and allow the city of
Detroit to attract further development within the city.
