Waves Actisud owes its name to its roof which, visible from the A31 highway, is its true facade. This mirror-polished stainless steel roof forms a large wave movement. This movement, fluid and dynamic, is extended on the facades by a skin also in stainless steel that reflects the image of the sky and nature. This shopping center is indeed wrapped in Inox, thus the building is evanescent, and this material guarantees the durability of the mirror effect.
In the heart of Waves, a profusion of green spaces concealing the carpark is a lake around which the restaurants unfold and where free scenic and luminous animations on a fountain are held. A real place of life that goes beyond shopping.
The shops are housed in a unique building that envelops the central space like a jewel box. A pedestrian promenade along the interior facade forms a continuous commercial front and is treated in a homogeneous way.
Waves Actisud also offers innovative services that create a unique shopping atmosphere: free electric shuttles to transport customers from one store to another, a VIP lounge for the best customers, and activities for children throughout the year.
Unlike regular commercial spaces in Metz, This project’s aim is to change the idea that to shop “cheap”, one has to go to ugly stores. On the contrary, everyone today wants to be treated well and therefore emphasis and efforts were put on hospitality and creating an interesting form for visitors to enjoy.
