A renaissance of an old Marina del Rey retail center, this retrofit transformed the center into a source of civic pride for local residents. The sophisticated design and distinct sense of place was realized via a casual seaside resort identity. Mediterranean style architecture adorned with a lush whimsical landscape harmoniously compliments the architectural fabric of the surrounding community. Carefully positioned intimate urban pockets and amenities are interconnected via a traditional waterfront promenade. Shaded social gathering spaces activate the terracotta walkways leading patrons to and from shops and restaurants.
