The waterhouses I designed are a response to flood risks and the new expectations of the society which longs for the closeness to nature and an access to the amenities found in cities. They are an attractive alternative to traditional residential architecture and their form is the result of a reflection on the modular technology solutions. Therefore there is an opportunity to enlarge or reduce amount of quare meters. Main aim of the interior design was to create very functional, simple, yet beautiful, space in scandinavian style which correspond with exterior. The majority of the materials used are natural – oak and granite. The atmosphere of the interior is maintained with the consistent usage of colors: white, beige and blue, which also refer to the theme of this project and its outside.
