The
Municipality of Rome wanted to provide a true "Landmark", a symbol of
the land in fact, with its own architectural features of discontinuity
well-defined and recognizable reference point for young people and their
leisure time, day and night.Location Area of intervention:The
pole for the entertainment of young people, located in an area owned by
the city, next to the road link of Christopher Columbus and a train
station Roma Lido, not too close to existing buildings, with views of
the green and the sea.The
location of the intervention area of 30,000 square meters, located on
the edge of the terminus of the Rome CristoforoColombo Lido, facing the
seaside establishments, about 200 meters from Piazzale Cristoforo
Colombo, affected by an existing road that is to be fully integrated work proposal.Architectural features:Contributed to the architectural definition of the building:suggestions
from specific elements belonging to the marine environment: the waves
of the sea, the shell of a shell, sailing kitesurfing, lebarche.These
elements have designed a structure that curves towards the Pineta
Castelfusano and reminiscent of the bow of an ocean wave, where the back
of the bow visibly follows the periostracum of a shell.The
structure, to be carried out strictly according to the dictates of the
main building bio, sovrastra-to-height 6metri the coast, in the vicinity
of its reunification with the Waterfront Amerigo Vespucci, and is
received within an oasis of green dunes and water.Intended Use:The building is intended for the reception of an entertainment "full-time" for young people. So,
between indoor and outdoor spaces, areas have been identified to be
used as: disco, ice bowling, live music, fitness, cultural events
targeted (presentation of music albums, literary works for the young
target, ...). This is supported by food & beverage and lounge bar, situated on a terrace overlooking the sea.
