The 27 meters high Water Tower in Lozenets/Sofia is currently used not as water tower but as place where art expositions fashion reviews and other events are being held . The Tower itself is of historical value.The Building is about a century old and it is preserved exactly as it was the day they build it. One of the cons of the tower is that it is very small and it became easily overcrowded . People are also gathering around the tower when an event of a greater interest is being held inside. To Solve this problem this project propose the making of two new galleries .However it is a park and it is not good if we build two massive structures in the middle of it. To achieve our goal we decided to build the galleries with green roofs and one level underground .This way we archive another thing. While going towards the tower it appear to be even taller than before. We decided not to change anything in the tower itself except the extremely small terrace. To protect from everything and mystify this old structure we put something like a shade which we made to playfuly open at some key places like the enter to the tower the terrace and on of the windows with a view to "Vitosha" Mountain.
