Warlon paper is a special product which is laminated plastic with Japanese paper in between. Due to its durability, strength, elasticity and variety of thickness and texture availability, noiz has been interested in making a furniture/production line taking advantage of its unique quality. Using grasshopper and special support of allied structural engineer, noiz is developing a design system which allow us to create a template of bending sheet with precise shape and screw holes, as a result of internal force analysis. This system can be applied in variety of scale and function, such as kitchen ware, furniture, lighting, bookshelf, and even to temporal building structure.
